the battle is finally over

i can't believe its over. Battle of the Barrios 09 is finally over. the battle that we were preparing for the whole semester. stonybrook puso all the waaaayyy, ferrealz. we tore that stage UP! and the seniors told us that our scores were the HIGHEST puso had ever recieved in years. i was so proud of ourselves, i couldn't believe it. we were the only school to score not one, but TWO 10s for modern!!

so it was inevitable to say that everyone felt cheated when NYU walked away with the modern trophy for their messy choreo and sloppy step. but whatever, they got their false trophy. everyone knows that PUSO was the true winner for modern and i couldn't be prouder :]

the overall winners went to rutgers RAPS, but they totally deserved it. their skit was absolutely flawless, hilarious, and perfectly executed. i could not stop laughing. so congratulations to them!

anyways, i'm so proud to be part of puso. we fought so hard and did our upperclassmen proud. the carride home from rutgers was absolutely ridiculous though. haha. singing along to charice pempengco, nsync, backstreet boys and all the karaoke favorites in the car until our lungs gave out. it was just an awesome end to a great night. can't get enough of my fambam :]
